- Quit Google Drive File Stream (right-click icon in system tray and select Exit/Quit)
- Uninstall the Google Drive File Stream (Control panel > Programs & Features > select Google File Stream > Uninstall)
- Delete the Drive FS folder located at:
- Windows: C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Google\DriveFS
- Mac: Go to: ~/Library/Application Support/Google
