Better Scheduling Sync Option settings

Sync Jobs

Checked: Sync new Jobs and updates to the calendar as all day events

Not Checked: Stop syncing new Jobs and updates to the calendar (does not remove)

Sync Tasks

Sync Interval time

Delay (wait) time between sync events.  When a Job or Tasks finishes syncing a new trigger is set X mins after the previous sync.

The interval should be set based on the estimated number of jobs you are syncing, a good rule of thumb is this:

10-100 jobs ~ 1-5 minutes

100-350 jobs ~ 5-10 minutes

350-500 jobs ~ 10-20 minutes

500+ ~ 30 minutes

Of course you can test by setting the lower interval time and if Google blocks you then gradually increase by 1 or 2 mins. Google resets the usage every 24hrs so be aware that testing this way may cause your app to cease working until the Google usage limits are reset.

Schedule

Set the sync schedule to only run between certain hours on certain days of the week.  This helps increase your trigger total runtime if your sync interval is set really low (1-5 mins) and you experience Google trigger time limit errors such as:

Service using too much computer time for one day
